Our story
A name drawn from Failaka's history
"Ikaros" was the name of Failaka Island in the Hellenistic era. From that heritage, Ikarus United Marine Services was founded in 2013 to reconnect Kuwaitis with their island.
Today we operate a fleet of 27 vessels, passenger and vehicle ferries to Failaka, the Heritage Village, two yacht clubs in Salmiya and Sharq, a maintenance workshop and a marine fuel station.
